Dr. Babak Azizzadeh is a facial plastic surgeon, published author, educator, and philanthropist. Dr. Azizzadeh is an Associate Clinical Professor at UCLA & a double board-certified surgeon at Cedars-Sinai with a clinical focus on deep plane facelift, facial reanimation and rhinoplasty. Additionally, he is the co-founder & President of MACRO Trials, a health care platform that provides FDA clinical trial infrastructure for physicians and health institutions. 

Dr. Azizzadeh is one of the most sought-after health care industry experts in the country. He has been featured on Oprah, New York Times, CBS Mornings with Gayle King, Doctors, CNN, People and other media outlets. He has been chosen by his peers, Newsweek, and US News & World as one of the top physicians and treats dignitaries and heads of states from across the world. 

During his career, Dr. Azizzadeh has maintained deep academic roots and has been actively engaged in scientific research. He conducted research with Nobel Laureate, Dr. Lou Ignarro, pioneered life changing plastic surgical procedures and has extensively published peer-reviewed scientific articles. He has been the organizer as well as invited keynote speaker at numerous national and international meetings and the lead editor of multiple plastic surgery textbooks. Dr. Azizzadeh co-chairs the annual Cedars-Sinai Multispecialty Plastic Surgery Symposium. He is a board member of California Society of Facial Plastic Surgery and American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS). Dr. Azizzadeh is also the co-Director of the AAFPRS Fellowship Program and actively involved in multiple leadership committees. He was recently elected to become the western regional director of the AAFPRS and President of the Sir Charles Bell Society. 

Dr. Azizzadeh travels annually to developing countries to perform pro-Bono life impacting surgery; he is the director of Facial Paralysis Institute and serves on the boards of the Global Smile Foundation and Facial Paralysis & Bells Palsy Foundation.

Dr. Azizzadeh received his undergraduate and medical degrees from UCLA and completed his fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
